Conclaves

Conclaves are held in both the spring and the fall, alternating between Camp Lowden and Canyon Camp. The Spring Fellowship is usually held in early June while the Fall Conclave is usually in mid-August.

The purpose of the conclaves is to provide opportunities for Arrowmen and women to gather for a time of fellowship. Newly-elected candidates who have not gone through their Ordeal have an opportunity to do so. Ordeal members who have served for 10 months or more are encouraged to seal their membership in the Order through the Brotherhood ceremony. At the fall conclave, Vigil Honor candidates are recognized and go through their own ordeal.

The weekend is also a time to give service to benefit our council camps. Several hundred man hours of camp improvements are completed during the conclaves.

There is also fellowship time for all new and old members. Arrowmen and women also have the opportunity to participate in other activities such as OA history, training cells, sand painting, games, and church services.

The Conclaves are an excellent time for arrowmen and women to gather. Everyone is First Class or above, all meals are prepared, the weather is (usually) not too hot or too cold, and all in all it is a great time for all.
