Vigil Honor
The VIGIL Honor of the Order of the Arrow is the high mark of distinction and recognition reserved for those Scouts and Scouters who are members of the Order and by reason of exceptional service and unselfish interest, have made distinguished contributions beyond the immediate responsibilities of their position or office to one or more of the following areas: their Lodge, the Order of the Arrow, Scouting, or their Scout Camp. Under no circumstances should tenure in Scouting or the Order of the Arrow be considered as ample reason for Vigil Honor recognition. Below are the guidelines for nominations for the Vigil Honor and the Vigil Honor Petition. The petition for 2009 is due in the Council Service Center by May 8, 2009 |
